Life is conformity
“Fitting in”
“Adhering”
“Adjusting”
Being socially accepted
But then, you smile
and “I” return
The Glass Ballerina
Dancing lightly
Toes swift
Barely touching the ground
as she flies
A charming prince
encircles with firm arms
Supple muscles
Supporting lifts
A dancer dreams
