I was reflecting on the past year, 2013, and in the spirit of the great Sei Shonagon, I couldn’t help but create a list of all the new things that I had fallen in love with during this time.

 

Things I Fell in Love with in 2013

1) Tea

2) Sweden (though saying I fell in love with Sweden is a bit of an exaggeration. It would be more accurate to say I currently have a fascination with the country, its food, and its customs)

3) European world history

4) Hetalia (I’m kind of ashamed to say that I like this animation because I find it as equally ridiculous as I find it entertaining)

5) Swing dancing

6) Jewelry (I’ve always been a bit of a tomboy so I’ve never been a fan of jewelry until recently.  My mom says its a sign I’m getting old.)

7) Flowers / Potted plants
